D'Fiesha licious Steamboat & Grill Buffet

Makan Lah is a fusion of Singaporean words which means “let’s eat.” Having fallen in love with the fusion of spices and the exquisite taste of Singaporean food, Eric thought of a concept to make the dining experience in Makan Lah even better. The Steamboat and Grill, a common sight in restaurants in The Lion City. “Steamboat and Grill is famous in Singapore. Steamboat is the pot where the soup is placed. And this is placed on top of the grill which is turned on while the guests are eating to keep it warm and to give the customers the option to add other things to their soup like vegetables. So the guests have to cook while they eat. We also have a buffet where 20 different flavored meats are displayed. There’s also tempura, squid rolls, squid balls. For the buffet, the customers have two choices for their soup. They can choose either Thailand’s Tom Yum which is spicy and our famous Singaporean Bak Kut Teh,” said Eric, Makan Lah’s managing director and chief executive officer.
